Books about Suriname
One of my true passions is writing and because I fell in love with Suriname, it has become my mission to show Suriname to the world. This began when I created a travel guide for Suriname, called: " The Undiscovered country, in the lungs of the Earth", which you can download here.

The Author
In 2002 I emigrated to Suriname and having never previously set foot here, I honestly had no idea what to expect having only heard some great stories about tree-houses. Because it all seemed like a big adventure to me, I made a decision. And so I left my country of birth ( Netherlands), where I have lived the all 23 years of my life up until that point and went together with my husband on an adventure that I have ever looked back on. My two children were both born in Suriname and enjoy the beauty of nature, just as much as we do. I am a writer and professional blogger, on the topics Suriname and personal development.
